The WWE Network has stacked quite an impressive Wednesday night lineup at this point. At 7 they are airing 205 Live followed by NXT at 8 and the Mae Young Classic at 9. This could prove to be a strategy that they’re going to keep up even after the MYC is over.
It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that if they decide to keep 205 Live in the current spot at 7pm which is the plan at least until mid-December, that NXT UK could fill the spot left vacant by the Mae Young Classic after those shows have aired.
It was said that WWE and Sky Sports have a long relationship as well and this caused negotiations for WWE to air the NXT UK show on a competing network (BT Sports) to fall through. Therefore NXT UK will be on the WWE Network.
Only time will tell what WWE does, but we exclusively reported that there are some big plans coming for Wednesday nights on Fox for WWE once that deal starts taking place in October 2019.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
