Neville walked out of WWE after he refused to let Enzo Amore get a win over him. It was an easy decision to make at the time, but it resulted in months of Neville sitting at home.
The King Of The Cruiserweights moved back to the UK as WWE froze his contract in place meaning any time left on his contract stopped ticking down. Now Neville is officially released from his WWE contract and he is said to have a no-compete clause, but something seems amiss if he’s really allowed to work where ever he wants.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Nevill has said nothing publically since his official release, but it’s a little bit more interesting than that. It was also said that Neville has been contacted by promoters, but he told them that “he can’t accept dates yet but will be able to very soon.”
If he really has a no-compete clause, then that shouldn’t be the case. So something else is obviously standing in the way from Neville making any commitments. Perhaps he already has something in the works? But only time will tell, but it might be a good idea to keep an eye out in the meantime for what Neville decides to do next.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
