Matt Riddle signing a WWE contract was a long time coming for anyone who watched him come up from The Ultimate Fighter and then the UFC. His indie wrestling career was impressive and now he’s a member of the WWE Performance Center.
The sky is the limit for someone like Riddle, and it appears that Riddle could have a lot in store for him once he gets going. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Riddle has already started at the WWE Performance Center even though WWE didn’ really promote the fact.
It was also said that he could be ready for television by the time the next tapings roll around and they could already have an opponent lined up for him for the next TakeOver special before the Survivor Series in Los Angeles.
It was reported that there is “at least talk” of having Riddle face Kassius Ohno in his first TakeOver match in November. Only time will tell what goes down, but Riddle vs Ohno might be a very good place for the King Of Bros to start his NXT career.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
