WWE had a good idea last year when they held live television shows on Christmas Day and New Year’s but it looks like that idea is going to be in the past.
We previously reported that Raw will be held on a Friday around Christmas and that is because it will be pre-recorded and aired the following Monday.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE has decided not to do live shows on New Year’s Eve and they will tape Raw ahead of time as well.
They will record the Raw on December 21st and air it the following Monday which is Christmas Eve and the New Year’s Day show will be pre-recorded as well on December 28th

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
