While appearing on James Ellsworth’s #Duhcast podcast, Chris Jericho indicated that he was open to working for other promotions outside of WWE within the United States if it was creatively satisfying for him and something he could really sink his teeth into.

“So when someone says, “Will you ever go to Impact? Would you ever go to Ring of Honor? Would you ever go here or there or whatever?” Yeah, sure. Why not? If it’s creatively satisfying. If it’s something I can really sink my teeth into. Something that I could really enjoy. Then why wouldn’t I give it a shot?”

“At this point I’ve done everything I can do in wrestling. I have a loyalty to WWE but not a death wish with them or anything like that where I’m gonna by hook or by crook I have to be with WWE.”

Jericho previously mentioned that he wasn’t open to the idea of working for anyone in the United States except for Vince McMahon but that is no longer the case. Jericho said it’s a whole new world and different market than it used to be.
