It doesn’t look like Conor McGregor will do any jail time for smashing a dolly into a bus a few months back.

TMZ Sports reports that McGregor is on the verge of reaching a plea deal in his New York City criminal case that will keep him in the U.S. and out of jail.

McGregor’s lawyers are reportedly in the final stages of negotiating at deal for his criminal felony case. Conor was charged with one count of felony criminal mischief and 3 counts of misdemeanor assault after he tossed a dolly at a UFC bus and injured three fighters in the process.

Prosecutors have also agreed to reduce the felony charge to a misdemeanor. Instead of doing jail time, McGregor will probably get off with probation. As of this writing, the deal is not finalized but negotiations are down to the “fine points.” The deal should be done within the next few days as Conor is due back in court on Thursday.
