The WWE Universal Champion is returning to the UFC and will soon face Daniel Cormier presumably for the UFC Heavyweight Title. But Lesnar is still holding a title in WWE. Now that he has been confirmed for SummerSlam at least fans know when to expect Lesnar back. but the only issue remains that people still might not want to see Roman Reigns win the Universal Title.

Brock Lesnar’s first fight back in the UFC won’t be until at least January or February so that means he has time to defend his title once again if WWE wants to keep him around as Bryan Alvarez expanded on during Wrestling Observer Live.

“After WrestleMania, they signed him to 2 events one was the Greatest Royal Rumble and one was to be determined. It looks like SummerSlam is going to be that match.”

“They could sign him to another extension if they really want to fool people and not put the title on Reigns again. I don’t know what they are going to do, I don’t know what their plan is. If you recall on Monday there was 0 mention of Brock Lesnar on the show to the point where Roman Reigns said in a promo I’m going to beat Bobby Lashley and quite, move on to bigger things.”

Brock and the Universal Title wasn’t mentioned on Raw, but it looks like that’s going to change as we go to SummerSlam. As for what happens with Lesnar, it will happen in time and all by Vince McMahon’s design.
