Jeff Hardy was supposed to face Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown this week but a police dog bit Nakamura and put The Artist out of action. This was terrible timing for Nakamura because he could have won the US Title.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports Jeff Hardy is currently dealing with an injury he sustained during his entrance on SmackDown Live on May 17th. He apparently injured his leg during his entrance in May, but Hardy is also dealing with another injury as well.

It is reported that Jeff has been battling a nerve injury of some kind and he is currently dealing with numbness in his fingers.

WWE has been booking Hardy in four-way matches on the road and protecting him the best they can. Hopefully, he can pull through and this issue doesn’t cause him to be pulled from any future matches, at least before he is able to drop his US Title.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
