Extreme Rules’ main event was announced on Raw this week. Since Brock Lesnar isn’t working the show they’re going to throw a multi-man match to see who gets to face him at a later date.

But they only confirmed Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns as being in the match which leaves several open slots. Dave Meltzer discussed this during Wrestling Observer Radio where he said who would be likely getting into the main event match at Extreme Rules.

“So it’s going to be what? Kevin Owens and Finn Balor and Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley. Strowman’s been in the picture and Balor already said he already wanted to be in it and Owens is in all those shots. I think Baron Corbin too. Because Baron Corbin was kind of in that mess.”

Elias also sang a song about how he wants to slay the beast as well so only time will tell who ends up in this match.

The only two definite spots are Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley so they need someone else in the match. Angle also didn’t say how many people were in the match which could mean WWE doesn’t know at this point either.
