The WWE Performance Center is very full at the present moment which could have led to Zeda’s release.

Zeda was in the Mae Young Classic last year and while she told The Roman Show that she didn’t know if she would be back for this year’s tournament she doesn’t plan on quitting pro wrestling. When asked if she wanted to make an MMA return or continue in pro wrestling she seemed very positive that we would see her on the indies.

“No, I want to focus my time in wrestling. I’ve spent ten years in MMA. After doing all that, doing MMA, and the entertainment industry, like singing and dance. I was always torn between the two. I was like ‘Should I chase the MMA career or acting/modeling career?’ Afterwards, when I realized there was [wrestling], this was more fitting for me and I really want to explore this route.”

Only time will tell if Zeda comes back to WWE after some time on the independent wrestling circuit. How do you think she will do on the indies?

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
