A lot of people have been wondering why Kairi Sane was backstage at Raw this week and have messaged us about it. While it is exciting to have Sane backstage in Albany, she wasn’t called up to perform in the ring at all.

Kairi Sane was actually at Raw in Albany to film footage for upcoming episodes of the Edge & Christian show for WWE Network.

Therefore The Pirate Princess wasn’t called up to the main roster and WWE just held off on debuting her. There was no plan to bring her on television except for the scenes she was shooting for the WWE Network.
