Fox is now going to be the home for SmackDown Live. This viewership could eclipse Raw’s rating thus causing a huge shift in what fans and WWE view as the “A-Show.”

Raw will be on a big cable channel with USA Network, but Fox is real network television. This is a much different deal not only considering how many people see the show but how ratings are analyzed.

It was noted that WWE could hold off on their Superstar Shake-Up until later than they usually do it in order to coincide with SmackDown’s debut on Fox.

“You know what, they should probably save the draft until September and not after WrestleMania and at that point make the big moves whatever the big moves are. But yeah, SmackDown is the A-Show that’s the reality.”

Therefore it could be a good idea to expect a lot of big names on Friday night.
