It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that UFC and WWE are very different in regards to what they allow their talent to do outside of the squared circle/Octagon.

While discussing the differences it was noted that Brock Lesnar is allowed to compete in MMA but he is a special circumstance, then Dave Meltzer continued to paint a better picture of current Superstar MMA restrictions.

“You don’t have Jack Gallagher doing fights for example and he has done fights in the past. Lashley isn’t going to be doing any more fights.”

Therefore it looks like even though Lashley signed with Bellator and his profile page is still active on their website, it doesn’t look like he’ll be training for any upcoming MMA fights from the looks of things.
