Triple H has already gone on record during his NXT conference call that he would love the opportunity to work with more independent promotions during WrestleMania week, specifically EVOLVE and PROGRESS. With Ring of Honor running their Supercard show that features a Cody Rhodes versus Kenny Omega mega match, it’s only fitting that the WWE would create a four day invitational tournament during their Axxess events running this week that features both of those companies in order to get in on the fad.

Asked to compete at those events are indy stars Keith Lee, the current WWN champion, defending his gold against NXT’s resident knockout artist, Kassius Ohno, and PROGRESS star (and murderer of chests) Walter, who will also be clashing with Ohno in singles action. Each of these bouts should be fantastic as all are praised as exceptional workers.
