The Very Latest on Rey Mysterio’s Biceps Injury

Mike Johnson discussed Rey Mysterio’s injury that he suffered this past Friday on the recent PWInsider Elite Audio and revealed that Mysterio will actually visit a doctor today to have his biceps check out.

“I spoke to someone who is extremely close with Mysterio about two and a half hours ago and Mysterio was going to be going to the doctor, as I mentioned this morning later today to get diagnosed to get some X-rays. I guess an MRI perhaps. The belief was that if it was a tear, it was not a complete tear of the bicep. Mysterio has suffered complete bicep tears before and from what he was describing to several people in the last couple of days, he did not believe it was a complete tear. All signs are that thus far that Mysterio will continue his conversations with WWE this week.”
