Dave Meltzer reported on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE nixed the plans for the match between Braun Strowman and The Miz for this year’s WrestleMania event.

The new direction now appears to be The Miz vs. Seth Rollins and possibly Finn Balor in a three-way for the Intercontinental Championship title at WrestleMania instead of the Miz vs. Strowman program.

“It’s pretty clear that they will be doing The Miz and Seth Rollins and probably Finn Balor in a three way, which takes Strowman out and Strowman is obviously the backup plan in case something happens.”
