As previously reported, there is speculation that WWE will be dropping the single branded pay-per-view events after WrestleMania this year and several key changes on these shows are expected to take place as result. While we mentioned earlier this week that these shows may be extended to four-hours long to fit a good amount of matches from each brand, there is also a chance that we may seen more multi-person matches too.

Dave Meltzer discussed the change from single-branded pay-per-views to dual-branded events on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and speculated that we will be seeing even more multi-person matches on the “B” rated pay-per-view events.

“I got a feeling that once they start doing these dual branded pay-per-view shows, we’re going to be getting so many multiple person matches and I know actually when it gets down to it, when it comes down to these multiple person matches they usually book them pretty well and usually are entertaining…”

“I think we will be getting all kinds of multiple person matches left and right. Watch New Japan and get nothing but those tag matches. WWE is going to be nothing but multiple person matches.”

How do you feel about WWE loading up on multi-person matches on these “B” rated pay-per-view events? Sound off in the comment section below…
