Vince McMahon credited both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for signing Ronda Rousey to the company during today’s 2017 Q4 earnings call.

When asked by a caller about Rousey’s role in WWE, Triple H said that they are finalizing plans for her but wasn’t exactly clear if he was referring to creative plans because he then said she has a multi-year deal and that she wants to be “engaged” with the company and make it her life.

Vince said that Rousey fits in with what they are doing now with the women’s evolution, while Stephanie pointed out that women are now headlining shows. Stephanie then credited the fans for helping make it happen. She added that the evolution is bigger than any one person.

Triple H wrapped the answer to the question up by mentioning that that Rousey is motivated by the direction of the women’s division and she wants to use her celebrity [status] to inspire other women to become part of the company.
