It was reported earlier this week that WWE is looking to book The Rock to team with Ronda Rousey to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at this year’s WrestleMania event. This may be a difficult task to work out due to insurance concerns with The Rock.

Ever since The Rock suffered an injury back at WrestleMania 29, insurers have been nervous about The Rock appearing in a wrestling match before the production of a film. The Rock’s injury resulted in delays in the production to Hercules and pushed the film back.

The Rock’s next film Jungle Cruise is slated to start filming in May, which is shortly after WrestleMania 34. If The Rock was to participate in a WrestleMania 34 match and got hurt, that could halts the production of Jungle Cruise and delays can cost up to hundreds of thousands of dollars. That will likely make insurers more skittish and raise insurance costs on the film if Rock works WrestleMania.
