Daniel Bryan is being advertised for WrestleMania Axxess for the VIP sessions on April 8th, 2018.

This is newsworthy because historically WWE doesn’t have individuals that are performing at WrestleMania appear at AXXESS earlier in the day. This is a strong indication that WWE doesn’t have plans for Bryan to return to in-ring action at WrestleMania 34 this year. That would also suggest that WWE doesn’t have any plans for a swerve job that would result in him winning Sunday’s Royal Rumble match to face the WWE Champion as earlier rumors suggested.

Bryan mentioned in recent interviews that if he doesn’t compete for WWE by WrestleMania that he would be leaving the company once his contract expires. It will be interesting to see what happens between now and WrestleMania. WWE could always remove him from the AXXESS listing if he does get cleared but this is definitely a strong indication that WWE doesn’t have plans right now for him to compete at Mania’ this year.
