Ziggler made it known that he feels like he’s bigger than the US Title, laid the Title down and left. This leaves a lot of questioned unanswered especially with Ziggler’s WWE contract about to run out, so WWE has done a good job of embracing that real-life story and inserting it into their programming.
As soon as this segment ended WWE cut to a backstage segment with Daniel Bryan on his phone, and Taz thought that was a terrible decision. He points out that WWE should have went to commercial after Ziggler walked out and this would have allowed the show to reset. If they showed Bryan, the Smackdown GM, on camera right after Ziggler laid down the belt and left, Bryan absolutely needed to address that situation.
He’s sure that Vince McMahon was angry about this, and if Ziggler goes to McMahon and asks him why they handled things that way, he’s sure McMahon will admit that this was handled wrong and will apologize to Ziggler.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
