WWE Championship Match
(C) AJ Styles Vs. Jiner Mahal
They lock up and Mahal shows off his power by easily pushing Styles to the corner. He makes a clean break and AJ puts him in a waistlock. A hard back elbow from Jinder breaks the hold. The crowd chants for both men, which is somewhat surprising. AJ takes Mahal down with a kick to the leg and chases him out of the ring to take him down with another leg kick. Styles continues to focus on the leg of Mahal as he sets him up for the Calf Crusher.
Mahal picks up Styles and drops him on the top rope. The impact to the ribs sends AJ out of the ring to the floor. The Maharaja puts Styles through the wringer for several minutes. He brings AJ back out of the ring and slams him onto the announce table. Styles starts to make a comeback with a series of strikes, but one Irish whip into the corner puts him down due to his injured ribs. Jinder locks AJ in an abdominal stretch to continue destroying his ribs. This already has been one of Mahal’s best ever matches.

Mahal climbs up the turnbuckle and hits a flying knee to the body. He tries to do the same thing again and jumps right into a dropkick. Mahal regains control quickly and puts AJ on the top rope. He sets up for a superplex, but Styles slides down and hits an electric chair drop. He hits an impressive ushigoroshi, but Mahal kicks out at two. Jinder counters the Styles Clash with some shoulder thrusts in the corner. Jinder throws AJ into the air and lets him fall hard to the mat for a near fall.
Styles attacks with a few kicks, but Mahal counters a running forearm with both of his legs. He lifts AJ up for a Samoan drop to get another close two count. Mahal is caught with a Pele Kick but he kicks out at 2. The former champion sticks The Phenomenal One with a running boot, but Styles finds a way to kick out at two. He attempts a Khallas from the top rope, but Styles counters with another Pele Kick. He connects with a springboard 450, but The Singh Brothers try to pull Mahal out of the ring. AJ with a dive over the top rope and hits one of them with a Phenomenal Forearm, then takes-out the other with a Styles Clash.
AJ returns to the ring but Mahal catches him with a big running knee to the back of the head, then a Khallas! Styles kicks out! Jinder gets frustrated an lifts AJ up for a Styles Clash but AJ escapes and catches Jinder with the Calf Crusher! Jinder crawls to the bottom rope but AJ rolls hmi over and back into the centre of the ring where Mahal is forced to tap!
Winner: AJ Styles
AJ celebrates with his title after the match, while Jinder lays on the ramp holding his knee.
