Taz opens today’s show by thanking his fans for sticking with him for 500 episodes, and he was very pleased with how the 500th edition of the show turned out. Chris Jericho was a special guest on the show and revealed why he blocked Taz a couple of years ago. Taz admits to feeling terrible about Jericho being offended by his tweets from 2015, which resulted in Jericho blocking him.

He truly believed that Jericho blocking him was either a mistake or a rib by Jericho, but after realizing that his tweets really hurt Jericho he felt terrible. He’s been thinking about it all weekend and wants to make it known again that he regrets those tweets and points out that he shouldn’t have sent them.

Taz informs that there are a lot of things happening within CBS and their new parent company, Intercom. Taz mentions that things are changing and he may have some very exciting opportunities coming his way in 2018. He can’t speak about anything yet, but he guarantees his fans that if he’s not live everyday doing The Taz Show as we all know it, he’s still going to drop multiple podcasts each week talking wrestling.

Taz points out that WWE is promoting a tag team Championship match for tonight’s episode of RAW between Sheamus/Cesaro and Rollins/Ambrose. He thinks that Sheamus and Cesaro have done a great job as heel champions, and their size and strength goes a long way when it comes to getting believable heat on the babyface challengers.

Taz assumes that Ambrose will take the majority of Sheamus & Cesaro’s offence in this match because Rollins has a better ‘hot tag’. Taz doesn’t think that we’ll see a Title change on RAW tonight, but he’s sure that these four guys will have another great match because they all have terrific chemistry with each other.

Continuing his RAW preview, Taz points out that the Cruiserweights of 205 Live will be battling it out for a chance to compete for Enzo Amore’s Cruiserweight Championship at Clash of Champions. Taz says he feels bad for these talents because in spite of their fantastic in-ring prowess, 205 Live really hasn’t taken off and the fans just haven’t invested in these characters.

He goes on to say that great talents like Neville and Austin Aries have left 205 Live and he thinks that’s unfortunate. He really believes that an established talent like Aries would have been the perfect guy to take that brand to the next level, but he was never really given that opportunity by WWE while he worked there and eventually both sides parted ways.

Taz is excited to see where the program between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe goes tonight, because he believes these two men will eventually have a terrific match when they payoff the feud in the middle of the ring. He’s also looking forward to seeing Paige return to in-ring action tonight when she squares off with Sasha Banks.

Taz simply doesn’t see where the feud between Braun Strowman and Kane is heading. He knows that WWE is looking to get Strowman another rub by eventually defeating Kane, but these two big men don’t appear to have any chemistry in Taz’s opinion.

Taz says he’s a huge fan of Kane in and out of the ring. He’s a smart, intelligent guy who works his ass off, and he’s the model talent in terms of someone you’d want on your roster. However, from a storytelling and in-ring perspective, this program with Strowman simply isn’t cutting it for Taz.

That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
