Did WWE Release Lio Rush from His Contract?

As noted earlier today, Lio Rush removed all references of WWE from his Twitter profile. He also changed his hometown from Orlando to Baltimore. Many were speculating that he could have possibly been released from his WWE contract, however that doesn’t appear to be the case right now.

According to PWInsider, Rush remains under WWE contract as of this morning. With tomorrow being Friday, it is still possible that the company could make the announcement, as historically WWE makes these types of announcements on that day of the week.

We will keep you informed if his status chances, but for now he remains under contract.
