Blocks 3 & 4:
He mentions that it appears as if WWE is finally going to embrace the ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy character, with Hardy ‘breaking’ after his match with Bray Wyatt last night. However, Taz thought that WWE could have executed this much better. He wishes that WWE would have embraced the ‘sci-fi’ element here, having an Undertaker-like lightning bolt hit Matt in the ring as the lights went out. When the lights came back up Hardy would have been gone, only to emerge ‘broken’ with his brother Jeff in a few weeks.
Taz couldn’t believe that WWE booked Asuka to back out of the ring after Absolution surrounded her last night. He points out that Asuka, the babyface, should never be backing down from a fight, whether she’s outnumbered 3-1 or not.
He says that Seth Rollins and Cesaro have great chemistry, and they showed that again last night in their match that opened the show. Unfortunately, the show closed with a confusing mix-match of talent. He still doesn’t know what WWE is doing with Jason Jordan but he knows that they’re reaching the point of no return with him as a babyface.
Overall he says that there were a couple cool moments on last night’s episode of RAW, but if you didn’t watch the show you didn’t really miss much.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya on Friday for another recap!
