Cody Rhodes Wants Daniel Bryan to Main Event Self-Financed Wrestling Event

It was announced recently that Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks plan to host there own self-financed wrestling event next year and the goal is to sell out a 10,000 set arena.

While appearing on Busted Open Radio, Cody discussed the event and revealed that he wants to headline the event by defending his ROH World Championship Title against Daniel Bryan.

“Me vs Daniel Bryan for the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship. If I could have everything, that’s what I would do.”

Bryan’s contract with WWE is set expire in the summer and he has teased returning to the indies if WWE doesn’t clear him to return to the ring. It will be interesting to see if Bryan actually leaves the company and returns to the indie circuit.
