Block 1:

Taz informs that today’s show will be cut short due to some changes occurring at CBS headquarters.

Taz opens today’s show speaking about the MLB playoffs, pointing out that the Houston Astros simply didn’t show up to their game with the Yankees last night. As he begins speaking about the Chicago Cubs Taz recalls the time he went to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field with Michael Cole and a couple of other WWE employees.

It was a Monday night and instead of attending Raw they went to the ball game. Michael Cole got very intoxicated before they even got to the game and he continued drinking throughout the night. Taz remembers urging Cole to slow down his drinking because they still had to call Smackdown the following night.

Cole neglected Taz’s warning and got ‘s***faced drunk’. Taz says Cole used to drink heavy back in the day and he was an absolutely hilarious drunk, but he doesn’t drink nearly as much now. They showed up at Smackdown the following day and Cole was perfectly fine which surprised Taz.
