Russo is joined on today’s show by former ECW, WCW and WWE Superstar Big Vito.

Vito talks about the differences in contracts and compensation across the three promotions he worked for. He says that when he worked for ECW he was paid per show and if you didn’t work a certain show you didn’t get paid. All vehicle and hotel rentals came out of your own pocket as well, especially when you first started there.

When he got to WCW he was offered a contract with guaranteed money where he was paid the same up until 100 dates, but if he worked more than 100 dates he’d get bonuses.

In WWE he was also responsible for paying for his own hotels and rental cars, but he had a guaranteed contract where he was paid the same no matter how many dates he worked. If you were sick or had to miss a show you’d still get paid. If he did other appearances for the company or was a part of video games he’d get bonus money.
