He informs that life sped up for him after meeting his wife-to-be and having their first child about a year later. He began thinking about what he was going to have to do in order to provide for his family, and looking for a regular, 9-5 day job was something he considered. At one point he was so far behind on his bills that the heat was cut from his home but through it all his wife was incredibly supportive.
After persevering for some time he was given a tryout with WWE and it went well. He was told that he should consider moving his family to Florida which he did, and shortly thereafter he made his debut on NXT programming.
He mentions that he never got to sleep until 6 am Monday morning because his body was overflowing with adrenaline after his Hell in A Cell match. He also says that he only slept for 3 hours the night before and he slept on the floor because his parents were in town to watch the PPV and the hotel overbooked, resulting in all three of them having to share a room.
That sums up this week’s episode of E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
