Block 4:
When he saw The Shield powerbomb Braun Strowman through a table he knew that WWE is really behind building this faction again. He thought that having Strowman take this beating was a bit risky on WWE’s part because he doesn’t think Strowman should ever look vulnerable in this way. However, he liked that WWE booked Strowman into the TLC main event where he’ll partner with The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro.
Taz enjoyed the match between Matt Hardy and Braun Strowman. He points out that Hardy has a great sense of how to properly lay out matches, and he assumes that Hardy played a big role in putting last night’s match together.
Taz was fine with Emma emerging victorious last night, and it wouldn’t surprise him at all if Emma shocks the world and defeats Asuka at TLC. WWE is building Asuka up as if she’s indestructible and Emma is the last Woman on the roster who you’d pick to defeat Asuka. Taz knows that Vince McMahon loves to swerve his audience from time to time, and he thinks we might see that at TLC.
Taz also points out that at the end of the match Corey Graves was verbally dismissing Emma’s chances against Asuka. Graves was certainly produced to say that, and Taz thinks that was a telling sign that Emma might put up more of a fight at TLC than most might think.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
