Conversation with the Big Guy Recap – No Mercy Analysis, Adjusting the Wrestling Ring, Terry Funk Returns to the Ring, More!

Ryback loves that WWE is acknowledging Curt Hawkins’ losing streak on RAW lately. This is a great way to get Hawkins more heat and it also allows him to get some much needed television time. Ryback just hopes that WWE continues to tell this story and doesn’t simply drop it in the coming weeks.

Wrestling icon Terry Funk returned to the ring at 73 years of age last weekend, battling fellow icon Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. Ryback thinks it’s great that these icons are still wrestling, but he doesn’t think he’d have any interest in wrestling at that age.

Apparently Billy Corgan will be officially purchasing the NWA in the coming weeks, and Ryback had heard rumours of this for the last few months. He thinks this brand still has viability and it’s obvious that Corgan loves the business of professional wrestling, so maybe there’s a chance that Corgan can revitalize this brand and give WWE some real competition.

That sums up this week’s episode of Conversation with the Big Guy. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
