As seen on last night’s No Mercy pay-per-view, Brock Lensar retained his Universal Championship over Braun Strowman. Due to Strowman’s rising popularity among the fans, many people speculated that the Monster among Men would pull off a surprise victory over Lesnar.

However, according to f4wonline.com, despite Strowman’s rising popularity, the plan was kept as it had always had been with no changes. Apparently, this feud had always been seen as a mere “stop” in the Road to WrestleMania 34 where Lesnar is scheduled to drop the title to Roman Reigns, whose victory over John Cena was also a part of the same “road”.
