Block 2:
A listener calls into the show and says he really enjoyed the United States Title match between Tye Dillinger and A.J. Styles, and he asks for Taz’s opinion on that match. Taz liked that match a lot, and he thinks the match would be remembered more fondly if it were later in the show. The amazing segment between Owens and McMahon also overshadowed everything that came before it on the show last night.
The listener also says he was very impressed by Vince McMahon’s ability to sell. Taz says that McMahon has always been a fantastic performer. He’s obviously one of the greatest heel characters of all time, but with the flip of a switch he can transition into a likeable character that can garner sympathy from fans.
Another listener calls into the show and says that WWE should continue to book Jordan to lose in good, competitive matches, and after a period of time he can become frustrated and turn heel. Taz says that’s not a bad idea, but the main issue with Jordan right now is that there’s no depth to his character. In order for fans to start caring about Jordan, WWE Creative needs to give his character more depth.
