As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, The Miz and Maryse announced that they were expecting a child, as Maryse is pregnant. Many have been speculating if the pregnancy is legitimate or if it is just part of storyline.
Bryan Alvarez questioned the authenticity of Maryse’s announcement on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and wondered if she was really pregnant.
“So, here’s the thing. So, I go on Instagram here. There’s nothing about Maryse announcing a child. You’d think that she’d announce that on her Instagram.”
Meltzer couldn’t confirm if it was just an angle for television or if she was actually pregnant.
Since the audio show was recorded, Maryse has indicated on Twitter that she is in fact pregnant. She sent out the following tweets when former WWE Divas congratulated her on their announcement:

That should clear up any speculation on her pregnancy being legitimate or not.
