Vince Russo’s The Brand Recap – Meltzer Criticizing Corbin, We Need More Demon, Who Cares About NJPW? More!

Russo says that this sums up the issue that Russo has with Meltzer. Wrestling is supposed to be entertainment and people aren’t supposed to be getting hurt. When someone like Meltzer says these types of things and rewards this Japanese ‘strong style’ with five stars, he’s urging competitors to beat the sense out of each other. Russo says if Meltzer likes real fights so much he should just watch UFC.

Bryan Alvarez also took a few shots at Baron Corbin during one of last week’s shows saying that he wrestled for triple the length of Corbin’s career, and Corbin really needs to step it up because his promo work sucks. Russo says that he’d love to see Alvarez or Meltzer run into Corbin in the street someday.

Russo adds that if Meltzer and Corbin were 13 and 14 years old this would be a good show, but when you have this type of show in your 40’s and 50’s there’s something seriously wrong.

That sums up today’s episode of Vince Russo’s The Brand. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya on Monday for another recap!
