Block 4:
A listener calls into the show and wonders why WWE doesn’t utilize Lesnar later on in shows when he’s present, such as during the main event of RAW last night. The caller also wonders if a lengthy program between Lesnar and Joe might be in order, taking the two competitors through the Royal Rumble.
Taz says that he assumes Lesnar often opens RAW when he’s live so he can jump right back on a plane and head back home. As far as a lengthy program with Samoa Joe goes, Taz says that all depends on whether Lesnar wants to leave WWE. He says that if a talent really wants to get out of their contract, WWE will often oblige because it’s useless to have an unhappy talent on their roster.
Taz believes that WWE would grant Lesnar his release if Lesnar asked for it, but WWE is smart enough to have some protection put into those contracts to begin with, to ensure they aren’t just left high and dry by someone without having any control on their end. Nonetheless, Taz really liked Joe interfering at the end of the main event last night, further escalating the drama between these three men as they head toward the Fatal 4-way at SummerSlam.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
