Blocks 3 & 4:
Taz comments on the rather underwhelming reaction of the live crowd in Philadelphia last night. He says that Philly fans have always been known for their ‘ECW style’ reactions, and last night we simply didn’t see that. He wonders if the times have changed in that sense, because all those ECW fans from 20 years ago are grown up with families of their own now.
He says that he loves Philadelphia and he doesn’t mean to criticize those fans at all, but years go by and things change, and Taz wonders if we’ve seen the last of that type of audience in Philadelphia.
A listener calls into the show and points out that twice last night The Great Khali lifted Jinder Mahal’s WWE Championship over his head, and this was somewhat surprising. Taz noticed that as well but he doubts WWE has another Title run in mind for Khali. Taz says that Khali probably just didn’t know what else to do out there so he just lifted up the Title.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
