Ryback is joined on today’s show by his co-host Pat Buck.
Ryback opens today’s show speaking about some criticism he has received since last week’s show.
At one point during last week’s show, Ryback mentioned that he saw an initial WrestleMania 30 plan which included a match between him and Ultimate Warrior. Warrior’s widow Dana reacted to that claim later in the week calling Ryback a liar and accusing him of using Warrior’s name in order to make headlines and generate money.
Ryback says that he met Dana several times in the past and he has nothing but wonderful things to say about those encounters. Because of that, he was really caught off guard by Dana’s comments on this issue. He thought he was very respectful in how he discussed that potential matchup, and nothing he said was a lie because he’d see no benefits from making this stuff up anyways.
Ryback adds that Dana was not backstage during this time, and WWE mightn’t have even been in the negotiation phase with the Warrior family at this point. This might have been a very early outline, which might have only included ideas that McMahon had. For all he knows, this could have even been a rib on him by the company.
