Taz gets into his NXT analysis.
Taz points out that it must be tough for Triple H and NXT officials to have to constantly turn out new talents, build them up and develop them, only to eventually lose them to RAW or Smackdown Live. NXT is a feeder system, and that presents real challenges for the brand, even though Triple H will likely never admit it.
Because of these issues, sometimes NXT is forced to showcase inexperienced men and women in the ring and he thinks that happened last night in the Mae Young qualifier match. He’ll get into his thoughts on this match later in the show.
He’s also been critical of NXT in the past for the way they treat certain talents who have been established elsewhere. Bobby Fish was defeated cleanly by Aleister Black last night and although it was a great match, it was strange to see the debuting Fish lose in that manner.
At some points in that match Taz thought that Black looked somewhat lost, and he thought Fish, as the veteran, walked Black through this match at certain points. He thinks that Fish has the potential to be a big star in WWE after he spends some more time in NXT.
