X-Pac 1, 2, 360 Recap w/ The Young Bucks – Branding ‘The Elite’, Wrestling in WWE, Issues with Josh Barnett, More!

X-Pac welcomes The Young Bucks to the show.

The Young Bucks comment on their two matches for NJPW last weekend. They say that Friday night’s shorter match was a warm-up for their Championship match on Sunday. They both credit Rocky Romero and say that he has one of the best hot tags in the business, and is a very underrated in-ring worker. Romero also helps with some of the bookings in NJPW, and he’s been a big help for that promotion.

X-Pac says that their tribute to Dave Meltzer after Meltzer’s father passed away was a very touching moment. Matt says they knew they had to do something for Meltzer because his father had been sick forever, but they obviously weren’t aware that he was going to pass away during that weekend.

That Meltzer Driver spot was not rehearsed, and he knew it would hurt like hell because the pads were very thin, but they did it anyways. He says he’s actually limping right now because of that move, but he’s hopeful that it’s nothing serious.

Matt says that a lot of wrestlers are scared of taking risks, and they rely on things that they are comfortable with. On the contrary, The Young Bucks often go out of their comfort zone and try new things and while sometimes it mightn’t pay off, most of the time it does.
