Bischoff is joined on today’s show by his co-host Nick Hausman.
Hausman mentions that NJPW hosted a successful event in the United States last weekend, and he asks Bischoff if he thinks NJPW will be able to make a seamless transition into the North American market. Bischoff is certainly hopeful that NJPW can successfully expand into the North American market, but that has been proven very difficult for Japanese promotions in the past.
Speaking about Impact Wrestling’s purchase of Global Force Wrestling, Bischoff says you’d need a GPS and three assistants to help you untangle this ‘cluster’. He doesn’t even know what Global Force Wrestling was, given that they didn’t tour and they didn’t have any talents under contract. Nonetheless, he says that it made for a good headline.
Speaking about the MizTV segment featuring LaVar Ball and his two sons, Bischoff says that sometimes strange things happen when you put celebrities in the ring in front of thousands of fans in an uncomfortable situation. In terms of the youngest son dropping the ‘N’ word twice, Bischoff wonders what happened there because there’s usually a 7-second delay button and he doesn’t understand how that made it through.
