Russo is joined on today’s show by his co-host Jeff Lane and Rue of RueTV.
Russo gets into his analysis of this Monday’s episode of RAW.
He says that there’s one major flaw that’s hampering Monday Night RAW on a weekly basis; Vince McMahon has no idea how to structure a television show. Russo looks at these shows from a writer’s perspective and from that perspective, there’s three storylines on RAW that has everyone’s attention right now: Joe/Lesnar, Reigns/Strowman and Enzo/Big Cass.
Russo points out that on Monday night, these three angles were all blown off in a matter of minutes. He says that this is a terrible mistake by McMahon and WWE, because these good stories should be a running thread throughout each show. Instead, the good storylines are blown off quickly and they fill the rest of the time with crap.
Lane points out that RAW closed last week with a hot angle between Enzo/Cass, and then this week we didn’t hear anything about that until 90 minutes into the show. Russo says that’s a good point, and anyone who was tuning in early to see a continuation of this feud probably turned off the television because they were sick and tired of waiting.
