Konnan says that he’s only working in an on-camera role for IMPACT right now, and he has had no issues there thus far. He has no backstage role; he’s just a hired gun as a member of LAX and he doesn’t have to deal with any backstage politics.

Lane informs that Mauro Ranallo has returned to WWE and will partner with Nigel McGuinness to call NXT moving forward. Konnan says that this news really surprises him, but he’s glad to see Ranallo return to WWE. Gilbertti mentions that a good commentary team doesn’t really make a good wrestling product for him, but a bad team can definitely hurt the product.

Russo thought it was strange that we didn’t see Mike and Maria Kanellis on Smackdown Live this week, after they made their debut at Money in the Bank. He says that consistency is WWE’s main issue on a week to week basis, and we should have seen this pairing on Smackdown Live. Gilbertti mentions that the duo appeared during a dark segment, and perhaps this was meant to air live but got cut due to time restrictions.
