Ross believes that the one big match that most fans want to see right now is Lesnar vs. Strowman, and he wonders if WWE will go this direction for the main event of WrestleMania. There is speculation that Lesnar’s contract ends around WrestleMania season next year so if Lesnar fails to re-sign, WWE will want to put over one of their surging young stars against Lesnar at this event.
Ross thinks that Lesnar will certainly consider re-signing with WWE again because he has the best gig in the history of professional wrestling right now, and the money is simply too good for the amount of dates he has to work.
Ross and Powell agree that Cody Rhodes is doing some wonderful work on the indie scene and in NJPW right now. Powell suggests that Rhodes might be taking the same route as Drew McIntyre, who made a name for himself on the indie scene and garnered the attention of WWE who brought him back in a revitalized role. Ross agrees and says he wouldn’t be surprised to see Rhodes back in WWE in the near future.
