Ross asks Cole if he’s considering signing with WWE anytime soon. Cole says that he’s a free agent for the first time in 7 years, so he’s looking at all of his options right now. He won’t rule out a run in WWE, but nothing is imminent right now.
Ross says he believes that Jinder Mahal will defend his WWE Championship at Money in the Bank next Sunday, and Cole agrees. Ross says that the two ladder matches should also be very entertaining and he assumes the internal competition between both matches will result in two superior matches.
Cole admits that when there are two similar matches on a show, there’s always that competition there to have a better match than the other talents. He adds that sometimes that leads to unnecessary risks and dangerous spots, so he hopes that everyone stays safe on Sunday.
Ross says that Charlotte has an opportunity to be head and shoulders above the other talent on WWE programming, as long as she stays healthy and avoids burning out. Cole agrees saying that she has quickly become one of his favourite talents to watch given her steady improvement in the ring and particularly on the mic.
That sums up today’s episode of The Ross Report. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
