Russo says the ‘This is Your Life’ segment on RAW this past week with Alexa Bliss and Bayley was ‘horrible’ and ’embarrassing’. He assumes that this was some sort of a shot at him, but they did a miserable job because this segment was terrible. It’s too bad that Bliss had to be involved in this type of segment because Russo is a fan of her and he thinks she deserves much better.
Russo was asked by several fans if he watched the most recent episode of ‘Table of 3’ on the WWE Network, where he was firmly buried by Eric Bischoff and Jim Cornette. Russo says that he won’t be watching it, but he understands that those guys bury him because they can’t touch him professionally. This is a perfect example of professional jealousy and with Russo’s body of work in the wrestling business, he feels he clearly ran circles around both of those guys creatively.
When Russo and Cornette were on WWE’s creative team in 1996, Cornette was sent home and fired leaving just Russo as head of creative. In WCW many years later, Bischoff was fired after blowing all of WCW’s momentum and ratings, and Russo was brought in there to replace him. He understands that both of these guys are jealous of him, but one of these days they will both grow up and admit that he’s simply better than both of them.
Russo gets into the second part of his analysis of the Bash at the Beach PPV from 2000, and after watching the end of this show last night, it further strengthens his point that he was head and tails above Bischoff and Cornette creatively during this period.
