Taz was thoroughly dissapointed by the ‘This is Your Life’ segment between Alexa Bliss and Bayley on last night’s RAW. He felt terrible for the talent, the announcers and the WWE Universe. He says that the go-home show is not the time for this type of comedic segment, and although it has worked in the past with The Rock, the writing was much better during those segments compared to what we saw last night.
He says that he really enjoyed Corey Graves’ performance last night. Graves is a very good colour commentator, and he’s only going to get better in Taz’s opinion. Graves’ role on last night’s show gave viewers multiple unique looking segments and Graves performed admirably in all those situations, first with Kurt Angle, and secondly with Big Cass.
Taz also loved WWE’s presentation of The Drifter last night. Elias Samson serenaded the live audience and as the lights came up, an enhancement talent was standing in the ring. Taz thought this was very well done. He says that he likes what WWE is doing with Samson overall, and he expects a few more enhancement matches are in store for him moving forward.
A listener calls into the show and asks Taz if he thinks Samson is done in NXT completely. Taz thinks that’s indeed the case, and although he was surprised to see Samson jump to the main roster this quickly, WWE appears to have a solid plan in place to push this guy effectively.
