Hardy informs that he really got along well with Billy Corgan during their time working together in IMPACT Wrestling. He says that if Corgan were to have purchased IMPACT, he thinks he’d still be working there today. He adds that Corgan had serious creative input into the Broken Universe’s development.
Hardy thought that it was always inevitable that he’d eventually return to WWE. He and Matt worked a ladder match with The Young Bucks for Ring of Honour on Saturday night and had a 5-hour signing session on Sunday before WrestleMania. They did everything in their power to keep their return a surprise, and the reaction they received at WrestleMania was amazing.
Ambrose says that WWE did a great job keeping their return as surprise, and says he didn’t even know about it until the last minute. Jericho agrees and says that when he knew they were about to make their entrance, he made his way to the side of the stage so he could watch it because he knew it was going to be amazing.
Ambrose admits that it has been a tough adjustment for him returning to RAW after the recent Superstar Shakeup. He was really getting accustomed to working on Smackdown Live, and that 6-month run is one of his favourites of his career. He says that he and the other Smackdown Live superstars took the show’s success personally, and were really emotionally invested in the show’s success.
