The Taz Show Recap – The Drifter Debuts on RAW, Goldust is Back, Who Attacked Enzo Amore? More!

Block 1:

Taz admits that he was quite surprised by the match between Dean Ambrose and ‘The Drifter’ Alias Samson. He thought these guys had a good, physical match and Taz was particularly impressed by The Drifter’s recent improvement in the ring. When Taz first saw The Drifter in NXT he was not impressed at all, but he has come an awfully long way in the ring.

Taz thought that The Drifter’s work also bought out the best in Dean Ambrose. It was refreshing to see Ambrose square off with a new competitor, instead of the same old opponents over and over again.

He also says that although he likes the ‘drifting’ gimmick, he doesn’t think Samson should be shown singing in the middle of the ring that often. Taz is sure that Vince McMahon was sitting in the Gorilla position laughing his ass off while Samson was singing poorly in the ring, and for that reason he assumes we’ll be seeing a lot more of that from The Drifter in the future.
