Russo asks Page about his experience pitching DDP Yoga on Shark Tank, and he says he can’t believe that all the investors passed on DDP and his new Yoga program. DDP admits that they were all concerned with how much money it was going to take to build this brand, but he said he never needed their money anyways. He tried to make that known to them, but it didn’t work. He wanted to offer 5% of the company for $1 to prove that money wasn’t a problem for him, but the show’s Producers wouldn’t allow it.
DDP informs that he now has over $1,000,000 invested in the DDP Yoga app, and even though he hasn’t promoted it at all yet, he has tens of thousands of people are already signed up. He’s rolling out a seniors program, a pre-natal program and much more in the next little while.
He says that by the time he’s 65, DDP Yoga is going to be a $100 Million company. That’s his goal, and then he’ll probably sell it to another company and everyone that works for him is going to be very happy.
He says that he’d also like to pursue some more acting gigs. He already filmed a dark, edgy superhero series that was supposed to be for Youtube, but now he informs that it might end up being a Netflix original in the near future.
DDP says he doesn’t understand why John Cena deals with as much criticism as he does. Cena consistently puts on good matches in the ring, and in his opinion Cena is the hardest working guy in the business. Cena is now branching out into acting and other things, and DDP feels that he’ll be very successful at that as well.
